Stage 7
Hair left on the head is fine and less dense than before. Only the genetically strong hair is left. A hair transplant is the only solution to recovery naturally appearing hair.
Stage 6
The areas at the temples and vertex of baldness joined together and the band between them disappears and the baldness can be seen clearly.
Stage 5
The band between the two areas of the hair left becomes larger and it is the severe stage of hair loss.
Stage 4
At this stage, total baldness can be seen which means the hair gets severely scarce and only the scalp is visible. Due to such situations, female suffering from hair loss also loses her confidence due to her altered appearance. Sometimes, such conditions can also create anxiety and depressive symptoms in that female.
Stage 3
After stage two, the next stage gets more severe and hair loss gets more significant. This is the most severe form of hair loss, extensive hair loss causes more scalp to be visible than hair and then the treatment is necessitated. Here, we can say that the patient almost suffers from full baldness or we can say denudation.
Stage 2
Here in this stage, hair loss is moderate but later on, it starts getting more significant and noticeable with widening middle part and noticeably decreased volume. So basically, this stage involves widening the part and increased thinning around it.
Stage 1
It is the first stage of hair loss. This is the initial stage of female pattern baldness. This stage shows mild hair loss with evenly distributed hair thinning or baldness. In this stage, perceptible thinning of the hair on the crown occurs, limited in front by a line situated 1-3 cm behind the frontal hairline.
